LUMEN 1852 jest najstarszą wytwórnią świec w Polsce. Swoją siedzibę ma w Krotoszynie, w woj. wielkopolskim. Założony w XIX stuleciu od 1920 roku znajduje się w rękach tej samej rodziny. Obecni jej właściciele są trzecim pokoleniem zajmującym się produkcją świec. W kolekcji LUMENU 1852 dominują świece zapachowe oraz ręcznie uszlachetnione. Ponad połowa wyrobów trafia do klientów zagranicznych. W Polsce można je znaleźć w sklepach galeryjnych oraz sieciach marketów. W styczniu 2002 roku w LUMENIE 1852 wyprodukowano największą świecę na świecie o wysokości 345 cm (rekord Guinessa). Świeca płonęła na rynku w Krotoszynie w czasie żałoby po Janie Pawle II oraz uroczystej mszy św. Odtąd nazywana jest Świecą Papieską. Obecnie firma jest w stanie przestoju. LUMEN 1852 is the oldest candle manufacture in Poland. It is based in Krotoszyn, district of Wielkopolska. It was founded in the 19th century and it has been in the hands of the Urabaniak family since 1920. Its current owners are the third generation engaged in the candle manufacturing. LUMEN 1852 collection is dominated by the scented and hand refined candles. Half of the products is sold to foreign customers. In Poland, the products can be found in the gallery shops and chainstores. In January 2002, LUMEN 1852 manufactured the biggest candle in the world having the height of 345 cm (Guiness World Record). The candle was burning during the mourning of John Paul II as well as the holy mess and it has been called The Papal Candle since then. Currently our company is in state of stoppage.
